The Posi Ed Baseline refers to the install and full configuration of Posi Ed, providing a minimum setup for all client projects. Please note there will be additional configurations required which are unique to each client; for example customising the calendar component. Due to the complex nature of some features and functionality within the Salesforce environment, we recommend clients seek assistance from our Salesforce Partner, AlphaSys to ensure the install and configuration is done correctly.

When you have created your new org environment, install the latest version of Posi Ed as follows:

  1. Check the /wiki/spaces/TPDM/pages/6359396 page for the latest package versions

  2. Click on the link to open the release notes

  3. Copy the URL and append it to your primary domain name in the browser address bar as follows:

  4. Press Enter and it will load an installation screen, similar to the one in the image

  5. Follow the instructions through until you have successfully installed all packages. These steps can also be used when upgrading a package version.

Configuring the baseline

After installation, a number of manual configuration steps need to be done to ensure your environment is ready; this is known as post-configuration. Our . Please follow the latest documentation to complete this step.
