You can add or log an observation in PosiEd Wellbeing. Alternatively, you can directly add an observation of a student in their Person Account or the session Mark Roll tab.

In PosiEd Wellbeing there is a Log a Wellbeing Observation utility bar where you can conveniently create an observation.
Click on the utility bar located in the lower left part of the screen .

A window will open and you can fill in the necessary details.

Afterwards, click Next and it will redirect to the next window and this time you’re going to add students.

You can add students by searching in the Search for Student search bar and clicking the add button beside the name. You can add multiple students. After adding a student, it will be listed above the search bar.

You can set the Role of the student and Confidentiality Status based on the type of observation that you want to create. Click Save to save the Observation record.

The Log an Observation button is a helpful feature that allows you to easily record an observation. You can locate this button in the action drop-down menu for quick access.

Before you access the button, make sure to select a student first. You have the option to add multiple students when logging an observation. Afterwards, a Log an Observation will be displayed where you can fill in the necessary details.

After filling out the form, click "Next" to proceed to the next window where the selected students' names will be displayed. You also have the option to add more students if needed by searching it in the search bar below and clicking the Add button found beside the student’s name.

When used in combination with security setup this field controls who can access each record. It can be expanded to include various other values to support specific requirements.
In logging the observation, when the Confidentiality Status is set to "Not Confidential,” the Show Flag is enabledand can be ticked or unticked. The Wellbeing Involvement Confidentiality Status is set to " Not Confidential.”

Status
The Status of an attribute. Only Current records will be displayed in many instances eg. mark roll.
Type
Formula field to copy Observation object value to Involvement for use in listviews and page layouts.

This section contains values that reference the Observation record related to the student’s involvement.
