After doing the Calendar Post Deployment Configuration below, set up the Calendar on the Person Account (Staff) record page.

Go to the Account Record Page > Create a new Calendar tab > Drag and drop the Single Calendar Component if it’s still not displayed.

Click Save.

After saving, you can now view the Single Calendar component under the Person Account (Staff) layout.

If the Status is set to Current, all Events displayed on the calendar will be based on the retrieved Event.

Retrieve the Calendar Colour field value from the Cohort record and set it as the background colour of the calendar entry. If the field value is not available, set the background colour to #939393.

The calendar colour displayed is incorrect if the Cohort’s Calendar Colour is empty

Note: The Day Start and Day End in the Calendar Portal will be based on what is set in the Custom Settings.

Create separate portals for the Students, Staff, and Carers.

Go to Setup > All Sites > New

For the Student & Staff Portals, choose Build Your Own (Aura).

For the Parent/Carer Portal, choose Jepson as the site's theme.

Click Get Started and fill in the following.

Name: Student Portal / Staff Portal / Carer Portal

URL: studentportal

And click Create.

Search the component in the Components section > Drag and drop the component PosiEd Calendar Component > tick the Is Student Portal

Student Portal

Follow the same process for the Carer and Staff Portals.

Carer Portal

Note: The Cohort Calendar field under the Cohort layout should be ticked to see the event records under the Carer Portal.

You can also add the Absence Submission component to the site.

Staff Portal

Choose the Customer Account Portal for the Staff Portal.

For the Portal to be accessible to the contacts. You need to assign the profiles in the Administration section.

Go to Administration > Members > Add selected Profiles.

To check if the Portals are accessible in the Person Account layout, go to a Person Account record > Enable Customer Account > Log in to Experience as User.

It will display the three (3) Portals you created.
