You can add or log an observation in the PosiEd Wellbeing. Alternatively, you can directly add an observation of a student in their Person Account or the session mark roll tab.

  • Log an Observation in PosiEd Wellbeing

Log an Observation in PosiEd Wellbeing

In PosiEd Wellbeing there is a Log an Observation utility bar where you can create an observation conveniently.

Click on the Log an Observation utility bar located in the lower left part of the screen.

A window will open and fill in the necessary details.

Afterwards, click Next and it will redirect to the next window and this time you’re going to add students.

You can add students by searching in the Search for Student search bar and clicking the add button beside the name. You can add multiple students. After adding a student, it will be reflected above.

Afterwards, click Save to save the Observation record.

Log an Observation in Person Account

You can also log an observation in the Person Account by clicking the Log an Observation button in the upper right corner.

A window will open and fill in the necessary details.

 Afterwards, click Next and it will redirect to the next window in which the student will automatically added.

You can also add another involved student by searching and clicking the add button beside the student’s name.

After adding a student, it will be reflected above.

You can select the role of the student by clicking Select Role based on the type of observation that you want to create. Click Save to save the record.

Click Save to save the Wellbeing Observation record.

Log an Observation in Mark Roll

The Log Observation button is a helpful feature that allows you to easily record an observation. You can locate this button in the action drop-down menu for quick access.

Before you access the button, make sure to select a student first. You have the option to add multiple students when logging an observation. Afterwards, a Log an Observation will be displayed and fill in the necessary details.

After filling out the form, click "Next" to proceed to the next window where the selected students' names will be displayed. You also have the option to add more students if needed by searching it in the search bar below and clicking the Add button found beside the student’s name.

Afterwards, click Save to save the Observation record.

Wellbeing Observation details

Wellbeing Observation Name

This is an auto-populated field upon saving an observation record.

Type

This field displays the type of Observation selected from a picklist of options. The client can modify this list to meet local needs. 

Confidentiality Status

When used in combination with a security setup, this field controls who can access each record. It can be expanded to include various other values to support specific requirements.

Occurred On

This field indicates when the observation was made. It defaults to Now and can be modified upon entry.

Level

This field indicates the level of the observation, specifically if it involves incidents.

Session

A session will be shown in this field if this observation is created from within a session. This provides a reference to that session so you understand the context of the observation.

Description Section

Title

This field displays the short title of an observation. This is useful for listview.

Description

This field provides an overview of the observation description.
