Hide Unused/Deprecated Components

  1. Hide the ProntoPlus App, there are two ProntoPlus Apps you can see in the App Launcher.

a. Switch to Classic Environment

b. Go to Setup > Manage Apps > App Menu

c. Search for ProntoPlus and click “Visible in App Launcher” to hide

Product Risk

  1. If the organisation has been installed PPlus version 1.28 and wants to upgrade to the latest version of ProntoPlus, make sure that the “SendReceiptPPTXN” apex trigger is inactive.

a. Go to Setup > Custom Code > Apex Triggers > SendReceiptPPTXN > Edit.

Notes

  1. The “RFM Scoring” feature is disabled in ProntoPlus Version 2.6. If this feature has been configured before, please remove/disable the config.

  2. Trigger Handler records are automatically included in the post installation script if the organisation is fresh/new but if you are only upgrading, it is not. You’ll have to manually create them.

Opportunity Layout

Show the following buttons, fields, related list, compact layouts and search layouts below. Repeat for all record types if needed.

Go to Setup > Object Manager > Opportunity > Page Layouts > Donation Layout

a. Go to Setup > Object Manager > Opportunity > Compact Layout

  1. Edit Receipt Action (PPlus) Field

a. Go to Setup > Object Manager > Opportunity > Fields & Relationships > Receipt Action (PPlus) > Values.

b. Make sure that these are the only activated values.

Recurring Donation Layout

Show the following buttons, fields, related list and search layouts below. Repeat for all record types if needed.

Go to Setup > Object Manager > Recurring Donations > Page Layouts.

Go to App Launcher > Recurring Donations > New List View

Contact Layout

Show the following buttons, fields, related list and search layouts below. Repeat for all record types if needed.

Go to Setup > Object Manager > Contact > Page Layouts > Contact Layout.

User Guide: Consolidated Statements

1. Enable Consolidated Statements

a. Go to ProntoPlus Settings > Enable Features > Enable Consolidated Statement toggle to enable.

2. Create Salesforce Classic Email Template

a. This is optional. ProntoPlus has a default template.

b. Go to Setup > Email > Classic Email Templates. Choose the ProntoPlus folder. If need a customised one, please ask assistance from your Salesforce Administrator.

Note: These are the ONLY fields that should be set in the ATS Email Templates: Contact/Account:

  • Standard Fields

  • Custom Fields without namespace

  • Custom Fields in ProntoPlus only (excluding the deprecated fields)

3. Create Receipt Templates

a. Go to Receipt Templates (PPlus) tab.

4. Setup Statement Table Definitions

a. Go to ProntoPlus Settings > Consolidated Statement > Statement Table Definitions.

b. ProntoPlus has a default consolidated table definitions

5. Setup Statement Table Variables

a. Go to ProntoPlus Settings > Consolidated Statement > Statement Table Variables.

b. ProntoPlus has a default consolidated table definitions

6. Setup Consolidated Statement Settings

a. Go to ProntoPlus Settings > Consolidated Statement > Settings

7. Opportunity Criteria

a. Go to ProntoPlus Settings > Consolidated Statements > Opportunity Criteria. Make sure that you have selected a record type and stage name before generating consolidated statements.

8. Enable Allow Activities in Consolidated Statements (PPlus) Object

a. Go to Setup > Object Manager > Consolidated Statements (PPlus) > Details > Edit.

b. Under the Optional Features section, tick Allow Activities

NPSP Settings

  1. Setup Default GAU

a. Go to NPSP Settings > Donations > GAU Allocations

b. Click Edit.

c. Tick Default Allocations Enabled and choose a Default General Accounting Unit.

  1. Setup Recurring Donation Custom Field Mappings

a. Go to NPSP Settings > Recurring Donations > Recurring Donation Custom Field Mappings.

b. Update the mappings and follow what’s on the csv file. Link to csv file.

c. You can also add it in the custom settings. Go to Setup > Custom Settings > Custom Field Mapping. Click the Manage button and copy the API names in the csv file.

  1. Setup Opportunity Record Type to the Recurring Donation’s child Opportunities

a. Go to NPSP Settings > Recurring Donations > Recurring Donations.

b. Click Edit.

c. Select “Donation” as the Opportunity Record Type.

  1. Allow Activities in Recurring Donations

a. Go to Setup > Object Manager > Recurring Donations > Details > Edit > Allow Activities.

b. Under the Optional Features section, tick Allow Activities

Remote Sites Setup

Add the “ProntoPlus_Remote_Site” remote site.

1. Setup Remote Site Settings

a. Switch to Classic Environment

b. Go to ProntoPlus Settings and copy the highlighted link below.

c. Note: Every org has a different URL.

e. Go to Setup > Security > Remote Site Settings. Add a new remote site.

f. Click “New Remote Site” and paste the copied URL in the “Remote Site URL”

g. Make sure that the “Active” checkbox is ticked and save when done.

  1. Setup Process Automation Settings

a. Go to Setup > Process Automation > Process Automation Settings.

b. Tick “Enable record locking and unlocking in Apex”.

  1. Setup User Profile for Locked Opportunities

a. Clone the System Administrator profile or create a new one.

b. Make sure the Modify All on the Opportunity object is set to FALSE.

c. Create a user with this Profile to test the locking of opportunities
