Gateway Account Authentication
Search Gateway Account, and select it.
Click New and fill in the necessary data.
While creating gateway account or updating the api token or publishable key. Make sure to disable the Active field, otherwise you will hit an error.
After you create the gateway account
A gateway account setting has been created in the custom settings where
o Name -> Gateway Id
o API Token -> Encrypted API Token from Gateway Account API Token
o Publishable Key -> Encrypted Publishable Key from Gateway Account Publishable Key
o Authenticated -> false
4. Click for Gateway Authentication button on Gateway Account record. If Gateway Authentication button is not display on the record, add it on the Page Layout.
When processing gateway authentication
If gateway authentication is Failed, the gateway account setting’s Authenticated field related to gateway account remain false.
If gateway authentication is Success, the gateway account setting’s Authenticated field related to gateway account will set to true.
After you click done , the API Token and Publishable Key of the Gateway Record will be empty and the Active Field will set to true
