Student’s Wellbeing consists of three objects:
Wellbeing Observation
Wellbeing Involvement
Wellbeing Action
Wellbeing Observation
This object describes the information about what happened, including the type of observation (e.g. a general note), the title of the observation, a longer description, when it happened, and who recorded it. The Wellbeing Involvement section displays the lists of involvement records that are being linked to the observation.
Wellbeing Involvement
This object indicates the students involved in what happened. This is linked to the Wellbeing Observation. You can’t have an observation without at least one involvement, and you can’t have an involvement without linking to an observation.
Wellbeing Page layout
The Wellbeing Involvement record is where you will go and see and manage things about the observation.
On this page layout, the fields in the “Details” section of the Details tab are not editable and are read from the Wellbeing Observation.
Other students listed wellbeing involvements can be seen in the Related Participants list on the right.
The Notes section on the right uses Standard Salesforce and is where the Staff Member writes additional notes about the observation relating to current involvement only.
Wellbeing Action
This object indicates what happened to student as a result of the observation. A student can have none, one or many actions as a result of the observation.
Wellbeing Observation Icon in Mark Roll screen
On the Mark Roll screen, there is an icon specifically designed for Wellbeing Observation records. This feature is incredibly helpful for staff as it allows them to easily identify which students have existing wellbeing observation records.
The icon will be displayed if the student's Wellbeing Observation record status is Current, Show Flag is ticked (TRUE) and the current date falls between the Start Date and End Date of observation. The Wellbeing Observation detail will be also displayed in the Student Accordion in Mark Roll.
Observation details for wellbeing can also be viewed in Mark Roll through the expanded accordion and in the Profile Component found in the Student Account. There is a View button available to see the wellbeing involvement of the observation.
