When upgrading to version 2.71 or higher, make sure to re-save existing gateway records to have the password field encrypted .

• When processing a payment via the Process Payment button in an Opportunity record,

  • The payment will be processed (internal)

  • If the processed payment is failed,

    • If the Opportunity → Payment Transaction’s Payment Result Code field value is included in Gateway’s Hard Bounce Codes field,

      • The Opportunity → ASPP Log’s (Method = SendAPI) Lock Record should be TRUE

      • The Opportunity’s Stage is Hard Bounce
        
        

• When processing payments via the Batch Payment Processing in the ProntoPayments Settings → Scheduler,

  • The payment will be processed

  • If the processed payment is failed,

    • If the Opportunity → Payment Transaction’s Payment Result Code field value is included in Gateway’s Hard Bounce Codes field,

      • The Opportunity → ASPP Log’s (Method = SendAPI) Lock Record should be TRUE

      • The Opportunity’s Stage is Hard Bounce
        
        

• When processing payment with an Opportunity record via the Batch Payment Processing (run immediately or by scheduled) in ProntoPayments Settings,

  • If the Opportunity record is using an inactive Gateway record,

    • The payment will NOT be processed

    • An ASPP Log record will be created where:

      • Message = The gateway record is deactivated. Please activate the gateway first before processing the payment.

  • If the Opportunity record is using an active Gateway record,

    • The payment will be processed to the gateway portal
