Send Communication via Email
There are available Email Templates that are provided for sending messages depending on the subject matter that you choose. You can create and customise Email Templates, see Email Template.
Once done click Send and an email message will be sent to the recipient. After sending, a Task record will be created where you can see the status of the message and other important details.
Comms Template for Email
In creating an Email Template, just go to the Email Template tab by searching on the App Launcher, and on the Email Template page click New Template.
Fill in the necessary fields.
Email Template Name
Please select the type that the email is related to from the Related Entity Type dropdown menu.
Click Save.
After saving, edit the Message Content section of the email template you just created and add the message content.
In the Message Content Section, add the Subject and enter the message template you would like to create.
There are available merge fields designed specifically for Email and SMS templates that automatically set in your message when the referenced field is called, making it simple to create your Email template.

Click Source first before saving.
After saving, copy the Email Template ID of the Email Template that you’ve created.
Go to the Comms Template object and click New.
Input the following necessary details
Comms Template Name
Select what type of Email Template you’ve created make sure to select the right type that is related to the Email content.
Paste the Email Template ID you copied previously in the Email Template Id.
In the Audience, make sure to select the specific group or individuals to whom you want the message to be addressed.
Tick the Email checkbox.
After filling in the necessary details, click Save.
