An Assessment Group is where you complete a list of all components used in the Assessment Group. Not all components will be used on every Assessment, and this is specified when you’re entering the ‘out of’ values. To add a component, you can access a look-up to the Assessment Group Component object on the Related tab.

Creating Assessment Group

In creating an Assessment follow the following steps,

  • After filling in, click Save.

Out of and Weighting Section

In the table, all related Assessment Group Components and the Assessment records of the current Assessment Group will be retrieved and displayed. Assessment Group Components are displayed as row headers and the Assessments aredisplayed as column headers.

In each cell on the table, all Assessment Component records are connected to both an Assessment record and an Assessment Group Component record.

Out of

In the Out of and Weighting section, if the Show Weightings toggle button is off the header name will display Components and Assessment Out Of.

  • For each column, all cells under a column will be summed up and the total will display to the cell aligned to Assessment Result Out Of

  • The equivalent Assessment record of the column will be updated where:

    • Out Of = Assessment Result Out Of

  • Every time a cell is populated/updated, the Assessment Result Out Of will be auto-calculated

  • When the page loads, the Assessment Result Out Of will be auto-calculated based on the available data from the table.

Weightings

In the Out of and Weighting section, if the Show Weightings toggle button is on the header name will display Components and Assessment Weighting.

  • All cells under the Component Weightings will be summed up and the total will display as the overall total.

Create Cohort Assessment

This button allows you to create Cohort Assessments for each Assessment - Cohort (from Assessment Group Cohort) combination under it.
