An Assessment Group is where you complete a list of all components used in the Assessment Group. Not all components will be used on every Assessment, and this is specified when you’re entering the ‘out of’ values. To add a component, you can access a look-up to the Assessment Group Component object on the Related tab.

The Assessment Component Out of is where you can specify the ‘out of’ values for each assessment component used for each assessment.

  • It is mapped and displayed in a cell where it is aligned to the following, the row header is the Assessment Group Component (e.g. Composition, Structure, etc.) and the column header is the Assessment Component’s Assessment (e.g. Task 1, Task 2, etc.).

  • All cells are editable where you can provide a value.

  • If a cell is empty, the component is not used on the Assessment.

On the Assessment Result Out Of:

  • For each column, all cells under a column will be summed up and the total will display to the cell aligned to Assessment Result Out Of

  • The equivalent Assessment record of the column will be updated where:

    • Out Of = Assessment Result Out Of

  • Every time a cell is populated/updated, the Assessment Result Out Of will be auto-calculated

  • When the page loads, the Assessment Result Out Of will be auto-calculated based on the available data from the table.

  • If the cell has an equivalent Assessment Component record and the weighting field is empty or not empty, you can edit and update a value in the cell. When the cell is updated, the equivalent Assessment Component record will be automatically updated.

  • For each column, all cells under a column will be summed up and the total will display to the cell aligned to Assessment Weightings. Every time a cell is populated/updated, the Assessment Weightings will be auto-calculated.
