When populating a cell,
If the cell column has NO equivalent Assessment Component values, the cell is not editable. You cannot provide a value and the background colour of the cell will be grey indicating the cell is read-only.
If the cell has an equivalent Assessment Component record and the weighting field is empty or not empty, you can edit and update a value in the cell. When the cell is updated, the equivalent Assessment Component record will be automatically updated.
For each column, all cells under a column will be summed up and the total will display to the cell aligned to Assessment Weightings. Every time a cell is populated/updated, the Assessment Weightings will be auto-calculated.

Assessment Group Progressive Steps
The Assessment Group follows a series of distinct stages to effectively monitor and evaluate its progress. Each stage is designed to provide insights and ensure that the group's objectives are met systematically.
Setup
At this stage, you should set up the necessary details. You should not be able to progress the Status to Draft unless all the necessary details have been specified. These include the Group Type, Description Grade Scale, etc. continue to expand on this list.
The user must either not select the Use Components checkbox in which case once the Status progresses to Draft, a default component called Results will automatically be created or the operator must specify at least one component, or the operator must specify at least one Assessment and one Cohort
Draft
At this stage, when the Status is progressed to Draft a Cohort Assessment record should be created for each Assessment/Assessment Group Cohort combination and all the necessary details have been specified. These include the Group Type, Description Grade Scale, etc.
The operator will not be able to add or delete Assessments, Cohorts Assessments, or Group Components. If they wish to modify these tables, they should set the status back to SetUp and then the Cohort Assessments and other processes should execute once again when the operator advances the Status back to Draft. This includes updating the default due date of assessments and removing or adding Cohort Assessments as necessary.
Open
Once the Assessment Group Status progresses to Open, the Status for each Assessment can now be progressed to Open. If the Status of the Assessment Group is Setup or Draft Assessments can not be set to Open, or any other status other than Setup.
The Status of the Assessment Group cannot be progressed from Open to Completed if the Status for any of the Assessments has not been progressed to Completed, Locked, or Approved.
Once the Status of the Assessment Group has been updated to Open you should not be able to edit the Group Type, Grade Scale, Weighted Results Out of, Weighted Result Grade list, Use Components or Out Of, and weighting values without setting the Status back to the appropriate Setup or Draft.
Completed
The Status of the Assessment Group cannot be progressed from Open to Completed if the Status for any of the Assessments has not been progressed to Completed, Locked, or Approved.
Locked
If the Status of the Assessment Group is updated to Locked, it should update the Status of all Assessments to Locked and this in turn should update the status of all Assessment Results to locked.
Staff can unlock, either an Individual Assessment or Assessment Results make modifications and then reset the status back to Locked. However, this should trigger re-execution of ranking calculations etc. and it should be with the operators’ discretion and responsibility.

This button allows you to create Cohort Assessments for each Assessment - Cohort (from Assessment Group Cohort) combination under it.
