Located in the upper right-hand corner of the screen, there are a variety of useful functions that users can utilise to complete specific tasks. For instance, one can easily send communications to the student's carer or create Absence Submissions with just a few clicks. These features provide a convenient and efficient way to manage important tasks.

Let's start by reviewing the filter criteria.

The 1st and mandatory filter criteria is the school. If you click in the School field you will see a list of schools that you have access to and you can select one or more schools from this field. Notes that in most cases either the PosiEd platform is being used to manage only a single school or the currently logged in user has a default school allocated to them, which is automatically selected.

It's important to note that no searches will be performed until a school is selected.

The Date field allows you to specify which day you want to look at. The Day Attendance function operates by searching for the Day Attendance records for all school students on the selected date by default, the date will be today however, you can look at other days by changing the date selection

The other search fields Year Group Attendance status, Exception Status and Explanation Code all default to including all records.

There will be a similar process for bulk-creating Absence Submissions, this will work like the Send Communications process, and this process is being developed now.
