Let's start by reviewing the filter criteria.

The first filter criterion that is mandatory is the School. To select a school, click on the School field, and a list of schools that you have access to will appear. You can select one or more schools from this field. Please note that you can only search for schools that the user has created in the Employee Role.

When creating an Employee Role, select the designated User in your org. Then, you need to input the name of the school you wish to add as an option in the school search bar. By doing so, the school will be included in the list of searchable options available for users.

Please note that in the majority of cases, the PosiEd platform is used to manage only one school. When a user logs in, a default school is automatically selected for them. It's essential to understand that no searches will be performed until a school is chosen.

The Date field allows you to specify which day you want to look at. The Day Attendance function operates by searching for the Day Attendance records for all school students on the selected date by default, the date will be today however, you can look at other days by changing the date selection

The other search fields Year Group, Attendance Status, Exception Status, and Explanation Code all default to including all records.

The student’s name will be displayed if there is a Start Date and End Date, or if today's date falls within the Start Date and End Date of the student; otherwise, it won't display.
