The PosiEd Baseline refers to the install and full configuration of PosiEd, providing a minimum setup for all client projects. Please note there will be additional configurations required which are unique to each client; for example customising the calendar component. Due to the complex nature of some features and functionality within the Salesforce environment, we recommend clients seek assistance from our Salesforce Partner, AlphaSys to ensure the install and configuration is done correctly.
Pre-Installation Step
Note: Before installing the PosiEd v.2.58, you must enable the Notes.
Go to Setup > search Notes Settings > Enable Notes > Save
Installing the package
When you have created your new org environment, install the latest pre-release version of PosiEd as follows:
Check the Pre-Release Notes page for the latest package versions
Click on the link to open the pre-release notes
Copy the URL and append it to your primary domain name in the browser address bar as follows:
Press Enter and it will load an installation screen, similar to the one in the image.
Follow the instructions until you have successfully installed the package. These steps can also be used when upgrading a package version.
Note: In installing the PosiEd v.2.58, you must enable the Notes.
Go to Setup > search Notes Settings > Enable Notes > Save
