You have the option to disable your Gateway Account if you no longer need it, and you can enable it if you wish to use it again. 

Disable a Gateway Account record

To disable your Gateway Account follow these steps:

  1. Go to Gateway Account

  2. Select the Gateway Account record that you want to disable

  3. In the Gateway Account record click the Disable Gateway Account button.

  1. Before proceeding to disable, a warning message will warn and remind you what will happen to the payments associated with it when you disable the Gateway Account.
    Click Yes to proceed.

After disabling, the Gateway Account will be updated where:

  • API Token and Publishable Key are emptied.

  • The Active is unticked.

  • Disable is ticked.

The equivalent Gateway Account Setting record is updated where:

  • API Token and Publishable Key are emptied.

  • Authenticated is FALSE.

Enable a Disabaled Gateway Account record

To enable a disabled Gateway Account follow these steps:

  1. Go to Gateway Account

  2. Select the disabled Gateway Account record

  3. Provide and enter the API Token and Publishable Key since they are emptied after being disabled.
    Click the Authenticate button to enable the Gateway Account successfully.

    After authenticating the Gateway Account is successfully enabled and the following details in the Gateway Account are updated where:

  • API Token and Publishable Key are emptied.

  • The Active is ticked (True).

  • Disable is unticked (False).

The equivalent Gateway Account Setting record is updated where:.

  • Authenticated is TRUE.

  • No labels
