Before doing the Publish Process through Edval and Edval Daily, you first need to Data Load multiple CSV files to your Org.

  1. Install the PosiEd package into the SF Org.

  2. Configure the Org

  3. Connect Edval to PosiEd/SF Org

  4. CSV Files should be imported into your SF Org in this order:

  • Import Accounts

    • Account records should be based on the Edval file

      • Educational Institutions – with School Code

      • Houses

      • and Departments

  • Import Timetable Structure

    • Linked to the Educational Institution record

  • Import Timetable Term

    • Linked to the Timetable Structure

  • Import Users (Staff)

    • With the correct Profile License (e.g. Salesforce Platform)

  • Import Date Maps

    • Linked to the Timetable Structure

  • Import Subjects

    • The Subject Code will be based on the Edval etz file

    • Linked to the Educational Institution

    • Linked to the Department

    • Active= TRUE

  • Import Subject Offerings

    • Linked to the Subject, Educational Institution, Department, Timetable Structure, and Term

    • Grade Level - must be populated

    • Active = TRUE

  • Import Timetable Period

    • Linked to the Timetable Structure

Review the data imported in the SF Org.

After importing the Demo Data (CSV Files), you can now start the Publish process.
