You can add or log an observation in PosiEd Wellbeing. Alternatively, you can directly add an observation of a student in the PosiEd Wellbeing App, Person Account, and Mark roll.
PosiEd Wellbeing
In PosiEd Wellbeing there is a Log a Wellbeing Observation utility bar where you can conveniently create an observation.
Click on the utility bar located in the lower left part of the screen and a window will pop up.
Person Account
You can also log an observation in the Person Account by clicking the Log a Wellbeing Observation button in the upper right corner.
When logging an observation in the Person Account, the current account will automatically be populated under the Student section in the UI.
Mark Roll
The Log an Observation button is a helpful feature that allows you to easily record an observation. You can locate this button in the action drop-down menu for quick access.
Before you access the button, make sure to select a student first, in that case, the selected student will be automatically included in the Student Section.
Log an Observation Process
A window will open and you can fill in the necessary details.
After clicking "Next," you will be redirected to a new window where you can add the students involved. In certain scenarios, such as when dealing with a Person Account, the current student will also be automatically included in the student list. In the Mark Roll section, the selected students will be added automatically as well.

You can also add another involved student by searching and clicking the add button beside the student’s name.
After adding a student, it will be reflected above.
You can select the Role of the student.
You can set the Confidentiality Status to control access to records.
Click “Save” to create a Wellbeing Observation record, as well as a Wellbeing Involvement entry for each person or student involved.
Wellbeing Observation
Title
This field displays the short title of an observation. This is useful for list view.
Description
This field provides an overview of the observation description.
Type
This field displays the type of Observation selected from a picklist of options. The client can modify this list to meet local needs.
Occurred On
This field indicates when the observation was made. It defaults to Now and can be modified upon entry.
Level
This field indicates the level of the observation, specifically if it involves incidents.
Session
A session will be shown in this field if this observation is created from within a session. This provides a reference to that session so you understand the context of the observation.
Confidentiality Status
When used in combination with a security setup, this field controls who can access each record. It can be expanded to include various other values to support specific requirements.
If the current Student row’s Confidentiality Status is not Confidential, the Show Flag is enabled and can be ticked/unticked.
The Wellbeing Involvement Confidentiality Status is the selected Confidential Status value (e.g. Not Confidential)
If the current Student row’s Confidentiality Status is Confidential, the Show Flag is disabled and unticked.
The Wellbeing Involvement Confidentiality Status is the selected Confidential Status which si Confidential.
