Upload Bank Statement (CSV) - PosiGive

The Bank Reconciliation process begins with uploading your CSV Bank Statement. This is the process to follow to do that:

  1. Download the Bank Statement in CSV format

  2. Reconfigure the Bank Statement according to our template

  3. Create a new Bank Statement
    Go to Bank Statement and click New.

    1. Create a unique Bank Statement Name

    2. Status = Unreconciled

    3. Choose a Bank Account (link to documentation for the creation of bank accounts)

    4. Choose currency

    5. Leave Date Reconciled blank

  1. Copy the Bank Statement Name (or record ID) and input into the Bank Statement column for all Bank Statement Lines.

  2. Go to the Bank Statement Lines list view

    1. Hit the import button

    2. Select Bank Statement Lines object

    3. Select Add new items

    4. Add record owner if you desire

    5. Choose either Bank Statement Name if you copied the Bank Statement Name or Salesforce.com ID if you copied the record ID

    6. Drag the CSV file in and click NEXT

    7. Check the mapping is correct - it should automatically map if you have followed our template and click NEXT

    8. Review the details and click IMPORT

    9. Confirm the Bank Statement Lines were successfully imported into the correct Bank Statement
