Creating and Syncing Invoices
There are 2 ways you can sync an invoice to Xero:
Manually pressing the Sync Invoice button on the Invoice.
Sync invoices by Batch
Read below for how to create an invoice (from Converting an Opportunity, or creating a standalone), and how to sync using the 2 methods above.
Convert an Opportunity to an Invoice and sync to Xero
From your Opportunity, (status Closed Won with product line items) you can press the 'Convert to Invoice' button.
You will be directed to the Opportunity Convert to Invoice page. Here you can select the name of the Xero Org that you want the invoice linked to, and the status of the Invoice when created in Salesforce.
If the Invoice Status selected is the status selected in the Xero Configuration for 'Status to Sync', the invoice will be synced via the batch process.
If you do not wish to wait for the batch process, and want to sync the Invoice immediately, you can click the Sync Invoice button.
This is what the invoice will look like in Xero.
