Client Creation and Service Quotes
Applicable to versions 1.12 and above
The end client in ProntoCare is represented by an Account of type 'Service Client'. This means that you can report on accounts of that type, and you can also link their support staff or family members as affiliated contacts to the account.
To provide a quote for the client to take to the NDIA for approval, and allow tracking of status of the sale, we utilise the Opportunity object in Salesforce.
Create new Account with record type Service Client.
To prepare a Service Agreement for the client, create a new Opportunity and add the expected Services as Opportunity Products according to service plan.
a. Create a new Opportunity for this client, of record type Service Agreement. Choose the relevant NDIS Service Type.
b. Add Opportunity products to the opportunity for the NDIS service.
