Update Contact Details - WIT

The Update Contact Details Page provides a personalised, easy way for your contacts to update their details. The WIT Update Contact Page is a PURL-driven campaign type that provides the fundraiser with a simple and direct means to allow donors to update their contact details on a web page form safely. Its features use personalised URLs (PURL), overnight system batch processing checks names, updates existing contacts, or creates new ones. It is most common usage is to target returned mail entries. This replaces the manual task of chasing contacts for correct details and the automation of business processes was significantly maximised.

The page will only function properly if the contact clicks on the link that includes their unique PURL. You can't put the Campaign URL link on your website because it won't have contact PURLs associated with it.   The PURL field is located in both single-screen and multi-screen sections. The layout is scaled back compared to the Single-Screen and Multi-Screen because fewer fields are required.

 Create The Page

Setting up an Update Contact Details Page requires fewer steps than the single and multi-page donation campaigns, but the process is the same. You won't need to worry about options, such as payment types, but you will still need to consider a few settings such as the Blurb, Thank You Blurb, and uploading your Campaign Banner Image.
