Student Records Details - PosiEd
Student Records hold data pertinent to student enrollment. Student Records have two primary purposes:
hold school-level details such as School ID, House, etc.
facilitate data exchange between PosiEd and external platforms such as LISS and Wonde.
You can find the Current Student Records list under the Other Details tab.
When you click on the Student Record ID, you'll be able to see more information.
Information Section:
Student displays the name of the student.
Student ID is generally an alphanumeric value to uniquely identify this student in this specific Educational Institution.
Status indicates the currency at this Educational Institution.
House reference to the House the student belongs to. The Primary Student Record value will be synched with the equivalent field on the Account record.
Primary this flag indicates which is the primary one if the student has multiple Student records.
Statewide ID is generally a long and/or numeric value to uniquely identify this student across the education system. Primary Student Record value will be synched with the equivalent field on the Account record.
Last Rollover displays the record when the last grade level rollover was performed.
Student Type indicates the type of student’s enrolment whether day, boarder or online.
Roll Group Cohort display the Cohort that has been linked in the Roll Group.
Educational Institution displays the Educational Institution the student is associated with.
Current Grade Level indicates the grade the student is enrolled in.
Next Grade Level indicates the next grade the student will be enrolled in after the Grade Level Rollover process is executed. This will generally be the next in the Grade Level Sequence however this field allows for manual overrides, for example, to keep the student in the existing grade level.
Final Grade Level indicates Final Grade Level the student will be attending as part of this enrolment.
Start Date indicates the date the student commenced with the Educational Institution.
End Date indicates the date the student left the Educational Institution.
School Information Section :
Leaving Reason indicates the reason why the student has left the school.
Leaving Date indicates the date the student has or expects to leave the school.
Previous School shows the school the student attended before joining this one.
Destination School shows what school the student is expected to be moving to after leaving this school.
LISS Section:
Fields under the LISS section may be hidden from most users. They are staging fields designed to permit the transfer of data from external LISS applications into PosiEd. These fields are typically translated by automations into other fields for use within PosiEd.
For example the Gender might have a value of “F” which is translated to “Female” on the Contact record.
These translations can be customised to meet client-specific requirements.
