Internal Alerts serve as a notification system designed to inform users about important updates or notes related to a student or their carer. These alerts will conveniently pop up in users' accounts, ensuring they stay informed about any significant information that may require their attention. This feature enhances communication and helps maintain a supportive environment for students
There are two areas where you can set internal alerts: one in the Person Account and one in Student Comms. These two actions can be performed simultaneously.
Person Account Internal Alert
In the Person Account section, there is a field called “Internal Alert.” This field serves as a designated area where you can enter important notes or updates relevant to that specific account. After you have added your information, the Internal Alert will be prominently displayed within the Person Account.
Student Comms Internal Alert
In the Student Comms record, there exists a field labeled "Internal Alert." This field is specifically intended for entering notes that pertain to the Carer or Parent, who serves as the primary contact for the student.
Whenever a note is entered into the Internal Alert field, an internal notification will be triggered, appearing simultaneously on both the Student Account and the Carer Account. This ensures that all relevant parties are promptly informed about any important information or updates.
If both Student Comms and Student Account have internal alerts, both alerts will display in the Student Account.
