People Management
While we don't treat students, staff and carers as “customers”. There are some very specific advantages of building PosiEd on top of the world's #1 customer relationship management (CRM) platform Salesforce. In particular, Salesforce incorporates comprehensive and proven features for managing all types of relationships between Individuals, Schools, departments and more over a lifetime of changing relationship roles. Only PosiEd allows you to manage a relationship with an individual from the moment that an application is created through all of their school years, including transfers between schools into their post school year where they may continue their relationship as a parent, a staff member, or even both.
All individuals are set up in a single person account. This single account entry stays with them for their lifetime, regardless of how their relationship with their school, or schools’ changes over that time.
All Schools, Departments, External businesses and a range of other entities are treated as Accounts (as opposed to Person Accounts).
Each of these records can have different relationships. For example, somebody can be a student at a school, a sibling to another student, a child of their parents, their parent might be a teacher at a different school and a donor. The Salesforce Relationship Management tools and Relationship Diagramming tools allow you to easily see and maintain these connections.
Duplicate detection and merging facilities help you identify and manage duplicate account records both as they are being entered into the system, and also afterwards if they slip through.
The PosiEd platform and its sister products, such as the PosiGive Fundraising System and our enrollments platform allow you to truly unify your school's operations from cradle to the grave. Relationship Management between students their carers and other relatives and friends is particularly important. PosiEd provides facilities to manage these relationships, including identifying and prioritising emergency contacts, communications recipients for general attendance, Academic Reporting and Emergency Communications tracking the nature of the relationship between individuals managing OK to pick up indicators and special alerting facilities for critical factors such as court orders.
