Mark Roll
The Mark Roll Interface is one of the most important functions in any school management system. PosiEd Revolutionises the process of marking rolls and running a class via CIS through a number of unique innovations.
Mark roll can be conducted using any web browsing device including PC, Mac, Tablets or via a dedicated mobile device interface supporting both iPhone and Android devices.
PosiEd provides the same mark roll experience and capabilities across all roll marking functions, including Academic Classes, Co Curricular, and Extracurricular, Cohorts, Boarding Houses, Excursions, School Camps and Emergency Rolls.
Mark Roll Interface can be opened from the teachers My Sessions Today list or from any of the calendar interfaces including the teachers’ personal calendar and the Cohort Calendar.
Quickly and easily verify the date and period of the session, the Primary Staff Member and Location as well as the number of students expected in the class.
In one click the system will automatically default all students as Present except where they have an overlapping Absence Submission, in which case they will default to absent or a conflicting class or appointment in which case they will be shown as Expected Elsewhere.
Alternate a student's attendance status with a single tap of the finger or mouse.
See each student's previous attendance history for periods for previous periods that day.
Instantly see special notifications such as high-priority Well being notifications.
Expand each student’s entry to see their photo, Last known Location, Previous and Next Sessions and any scheduling conflicts.
Instantly see each student’s high- priority Well being notifications and other alerts.
Easily add students from outside the class to your class through the Add Student function.
Send personalised or templated communications to selected or all students, students’. carers or students and carers via SMS or E-mail.
Log new well being observations against one or multiple students.
Check students into class and identify them as having arrived late.
Check students out of class including sending them to specific destinations with time frames and alerts, for example, sending a student to Sick Bay with an alert in 10 minutes if they do not check in at Sick Bay.
See the attendance history for the entire class including summary statistics through the Attendance History tab.
When all students have been marked Present or Absent, the roll can be marked as completed. It can also be reopened if adjustments need to be made.
Both Vertical and Composite Joint classes are supported.
A Session can be canceled through the Cancel Session function.
As soon as the roll is submitted each student that is Present in the class has their Last Known Location and presence details updated automatically.
