PosiEd was designed from the ground up with the objective of making the challenge so if overcoming the challenges of running multiple schools in a single environment. This contrasts with most others school management systems that at best provide a method to connect or collate data from separate individual environments, one for each school.

  • Run several dozen individual schools within a single Salesforce org (instance).

  • Salesforce Permission Sets and the PosiEd Architecture combine to allow you to manage the security of your data across these environments.  For example, staff in one school cannot see the data in other schools, and yet you can permit both Staff and Students to interact in more than one individual school environment seamlessly.

  • The single org approach allows you to significantly reduce the costs and complexities of administration of IT resources data security and more within a centralised administration team, or with small clusters of admins that are shared between groups of schools.

  • Each school can have its own timetabling Structures, Academic Reporting, Markbook, and other workflows well, at the same time sharing common business procedures and reporting structures to simplify school benchmarking and to bring more commonality to your group of schools.

  • Students can be set up to easily move between schools in the group and even to take subjects from multiple schools simultaneously without duplicating of duplication of contact details.

  • Staff members can also either move between schools or operate in multiple schools concurrently.

  • Schools can choose to either share or operate separately in areas such as Admissions, School Communications,  School Portals, and Attendance Management.

  • PosiEd supports multiple time zones, this means that different each school can be allocated to a particular time zone including those that support daylight saving and students and staff for that school have their calendars automatically updated to reflect their chosen time zone automatically.
