Excursions and Camps
New Excursion or Camp Cohorts can be created by any authorised staff member.
Both student and staff member attendees can be added to the Cohorts either manually or through bulk operations using other lists available in the PosiEd system, e.g. all year 11 students or students from these three classes, or the Cohort can be set up to add members via online forms in the parents portal, for example.
Carers' permissions can be set up to be explicitly required and the particular Terms and Conditions as well as any out-of-pocket expenses can be defined in the Cohort, and will automatically flow through to online forms in the Carers Portal, or these flags can be updated manually by a staff member.
School Approval processes can also be set up. For example, students must achieve a certain level of achievement to be included in a Tennis Camp.
Rolls during the excursion can be marked on either tablet or even mobile phone devices with real-time connection to the school system, so I can verify students' attendance even at Excursions and remote Camps.
