Setting Up a Payment Gateway

To set up a gateway, go to the App Launcher and click on ProntoPayment Settings. Click Gateway in the sidebar.
Click the New Gateway button on the right hand side to create a new Payment Gateway.
Choose a record type corresponding to the type of payment gateway being integrated with. Then click the Next.
On the ASGateway Edit page, configure the following;
Enter a Gateway Name
Whether gateway is a sandbox (checkbox)
Gateway API Token (to be provided by Payment Gateway provider)
Password for the Gateway login (if applicable)
Default currency.
API Version. The picklist will always be defaulted to the most current version
Choose from the picklist the Default opportunity stage for successful transactions (Usually Closed Won
Choose from the picklist the Default opportunity stage for failed transactions (Usually Closed Lost)
Whether gateway is active (checkbox)
Payment Source Handling – for one off transactions, options are to:
Never Remove – do not automatically delete payment source details.
Remove After Successful Charge – delete payment source only after successfully processed.
Remove After Any Transaction – delete payment source after processing regardless of outcome
Payment Methods
Whether bank account direct debits are permitted (only available on permitted gateways).
Whether credit card direct debits are permitted – if selected, can choose which card types are permitted (only available on permitted gateways).
Checkbox on whether to use tokenisation.
